Short professional CV: I was born in 1971 in Sofia. In 1989 I graduated 19^th Elin Pelin secondary school in Sofia. From 1989 to 1994 I studied Biochemistry and microbiology at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, Faculty of Biology. I specialized as a biochemist and presented my Master thesis in 1994. Since then I have worked as assistant at the Department of Biology, Medical Faculty, Medical University of Sofia. In 2005 I presented my PhD thesis.

Scientific interests: in the area of cell biology, using mainly microscopic and immunocytochemical methods.
